Rustic 4 Tier Folding Bookshelf with Metal Frame

A bookshelf that makes room for more than books

Warm brown wood-look shelves and a black metal frame give this 4 tier folding bookshelf an understated industrial look. Its open design lets you mix books with framed photographs, a small plant or favourite display pieces, turning an unused wall space into a personal corner rather than another enclosed cupboard.

Four levels of visible storage

Keep reading material together in a study, arrange books and ornaments beside a living-room chair, or give everyday accessories a home in a bedroom. Four separate shelves let you group items by use while keeping them visible and easy to reach. The open back allows your wall colour to show through, keeping the arrangement visually lighter than a solid-backed bookcase.

A shallow footprint for smaller spaces

At 60cm wide and just 27cm deep, the BS-03 adds vertical storage without projecting far into the room. Its 125cm height provides four display levels in a compact footprint. Measure the space you have available, including skirting boards, and check the depth of books or storage boxes you plan to use.

Fold it away when your layout changes

The folding frame gives this shelf an advantage over a conventional fixed bookcase when you need to rearrange a room or store it between uses. Open the frame and secure the four shelves onto their retaining clips as directed in the instructions. To fold it, remove every item first, release the shelf fixings as instructed and fold the frame inward. The folded unit takes up less depth for storage.

• Four particle-board shelves: Brown wood-look surfaces contrast with the black frame; the shelves are not solid timber.
• Open metal structure: Rectangular side frames and rear horizontal rails define each storage level.
• Shelf retaining clips: Secure the shelves in their working position.
• Four adjustable foot pads: Help level the bookcase on your floor.

Setup and care

Supplied flatpacked for setup. Follow the product instructions, fully open the frame and check all shelf clips before loading. Position on a level floor and adjust the feet as needed. Secure to a suitable wall with appropriate anti-tip fixings before use, choosing fixings for your wall type. Keep heavier items on the lower shelves and do not allow children to climb on the frame.

Wipe with a soft, lightly damp cloth and dry promptly. Avoid abrasive cleaners and prolonged moisture; use a waterproof saucer beneath any plant pot. Empty the shelves before moving or folding the unit. Books, plants and decorative accessories shown in the images are not included.
