Keep shoes or spare blankets out of sight while adding a place to sit. This rustic storage trunk bench combines a flat, unpadded seat with a lift-top lid and an open interior compartment, finished in a weathered grey wood look with slatted front panels.
Lift the top to reach hidden storage
The full-width lid opens from above, giving you access to one open storage compartment rather than separate shelves or drawers. Use it for footwear near the entrance or folded throws at the end of a bed. Leave space above and behind the trunk so the lid can open freely.
The lid opens up to 90 degrees and is fitted with metal hinges and a support arm. Guide it carefully when opening or closing, keeping fingers clear of the edges and mechanism.
A bench and storage chest in one
Close the lid fully to use the flat top as a seat while changing shoes. The stated maximum weight capacity is 100kg. Unlike a cushioned shoe bench, this model has an unpadded MDF top that keeps the wood-look finish consistent across the piece.
Slatted detail with a weathered finish
Two framed, slatted front panels give the trunk its rustic character and allow airflow through the front openings. These are fixed panels, not cupboard doors: access is through the top. The grey wood-grain finish works as an understated storage piece in an entrance, bedroom or lounge.

Assembly and care
Supplied flatpacked for assembly, with instructions included. Assemble on a level surface and check all fittings before use. Close the lid fully before sitting, do not use the trunk as a step and do not allow children to climb inside.
Wipe with a soft cloth and dry spills promptly. Store only clean, dry items inside and avoid soaking the MDF surfaces.
